Alessia Fiore was born in Rome on Novembre 10, 1965.
She earned her law degree in 1988 from the University "La Sapienza" of
Rome and she was admitted to practice law by the Court of Appeals of
Rome in 1991.
She is a dedicated practitioner and a talented litigator in the areas
of civil law and administrative law (in the ordinary courts and in the
Court of Auditors).
In particular, in 1990 she collaborated with Prof. Andrea Di Porto in
the drafting of opinions and agreements. Between 1995-1996 she was a
member of the legal team headed by Prof. Andrea Di Porto that acted as
counsel in the publication of the "Linee Guida" (Guidelines) directed
at regulated waste disposal and recycling operators with a particular
focus on environmental issues and EU Directive quality certification
procedures. In 1995/1996 she was litigation and general counsel to film
production companies in specialized legal issues such as intellectual
property and multimedia rights. She also participated in arbitrations
as secretary and attorney and in contract bidding procedures as a
substitute to a selection committee member.
Her current practice is mostly focused on issues of civil law and
administrative law, with a specialized emphasis on contract bidding and
requirement contracts, environmental law and intellectual property law.
Between 1995-1997 she contributed on a regular basis to the law review
journal "Giurisprudenza Italiana" writing notes of commentary on civil
procedure in the section directed by Prof. Sergio Chiarloni.
Since 1994 she collaborates with and assists the chair of principles of private law, Prof. Andrea Di Porto, at her alma mater.
