Our firm, with its current members (partners:
Alessandro Pace, Ottavio Grandinetti and Lorenzo Federico Pace), has
been open for business since January 1, 1998, although it had acquired
prior notoriety at the national level in the practice areas of
constitutional law and communications and media law (print media, radio
and television broadcasting, etc.).
The firm has handled numerous constitutional issues before the Italian
Constitutional Court in matters of journalism and television, the
insurance field, the institution of new municipalities, the regulation
of property law, and of electric tariffs, bar association social
security, as well as review by the Court of Auditors over professional
societies. Our firm has also worked on conflicts of competence raised
by Italy's Regions against the central government and also between the
different institutions of the State.
The firm has also acted as counsel in important controversies brought
before the administrative and ordinary courts delving into issues of
general administrative law and civil law, with a specialized focus on
damages caused by defamation by the press.
Our firm later expanded its practice to the areas of competition law, intellectual property, entertainment and new media law.
The partners of the firm also participate in arbitrations, within their
specialized practice areas, as panel presidents or arbitrators for the
parties involved.
